This is a very unique find...
These are wool German Army mittens. They are in used, good condition. The glove shell is made of wool. The palms and thumb are reinforced with canvas. These were meant to be worn in conjunction with glove liners. The top of the right glove can be pulled back and snapped in place to permit free movement of the trigger finger.
I estimate these gloves to be a men's size medium. When worn with liners these would make very warm gloves. They would be a very attractive addition to a casual winter outfit.
