For your consideration is a Vietnam War vintage men's USMC OD wind breaker jacket in a size 40R. It is in used, excellent condition. The color is still strong and there are no holes or tears. There are pin holes at the collar where rank was applied.
This was the USMC equivalent to the Army's AG-274 light jacket. This was meant to be worn with the USMC Bravo and Charlie uniforms (the equivalent to the U.S. Army Class B uniforms). This is a short jacket and meant to sit just at waist level.
These jackets are very cool, classic looking fashion pieces. This particular one is made of Dacron and cotton by SACO Uniforms. It was meant to be water repellant. It features a zippered front, two front slash pockets, buttoned cuffs and waist take-in tabs.
