This is a very nice, complete Vietnam War issue M-1956 canteen set. The set is in used, good condition and all items are dated. The canteen cover is dated 1960 and still has a strong OD color with no frayed spots or tears. The canteen is dated 1963. This is the earliest I have seen for a plastic canteen! Unfortunately, there are white paint spots on it. The canteen cup is dated 1953 and shows modest wear.
If you're looking for a solid Vietnam War issue canteen set, look no further! It would be hard to upgrade from this set.
