For your consideration is a pair of black U.S. Military hot weather boots in a size 10R. They are in used, excellent condition. They appear to have not seen serious field use. These were made by Wellco, which was a common government boot contractor from the 1960's - 2000's.
These are not exactly jungle boots or a replacement for the jungle boots. They do not have drain vents. These were meant as a hot weather alternative to the standard black leather combat boots. They are also an early version of what is now often called "tactical boots". Tan suede versions of these boots were issued in the early GWOT years.
These are outstanding as summer hiking boots or fall hunting boots.
*A Note on Size*
These should run about 1/2 size large with a standard pair of cushion sole hiking socks.
Please know your combat boot size before ordering. There are no returns on these. I am not Amazon or Zappos, and I can't afford to ship boots back and forth for the sake of fitting them.
