This is a very nice late Vietnam War/early 1970's canteen set. All items are in used, good condition.
The cover is the later, metal snap version with the M-1967 label. It is dated 1972. The earliest date I have seen on the metal snap M-1967 covers is 1971, so it is debatable if any of these made it to Vietnam.
The canteen is dated 1970. The canteen cup is not dated, as is common for the 1960's era cups, and it is marked "MECO".
