Here is a unique item!
For your consideration is a vintage ERDL camouflage carpenter's belt with harness. It is in used, good condition. It is faded and shows signs of use. There is surface rust on the harness buckles. The rig has a slightly musty smell, probably from years of poor storage conditions. Nevertheless, this harness has a great deal of life left in it!
The harness pouches are made of a very heavy duty cordura nylon. The belt is adjustable and has a Fastex type buckle. The H-Harnesses shoulder straps are padded and adjustable. The harness is removable and clips onto the belt with heavy duty metal suspender clips.
This is not a U.S. Military issue item. It is a commercially produced rig made by "Nailers". I do not know if this sort of tool belt would have been used by military engineer units.
