This is a vintage black commando sweater in a size 46. This equates to a men's large. It is in used, excellent condition. There are no holes or tears. The original owner's name is stamped into the hem of the sweater's neck.
The wool commando sweater has its roots in WWII. This is an iconic piece of long standing military fashion. Typical of these sweaters are the reinforced shoulders and elbows. They look equally good with military fatigues or as a part of a functional but attractive outdoor wardrobe. These sweaters are 100% wool and are known for their warmth.
