This is a vintage U.S. Military "barracks bag". It is in used, good condition. There is a small hole near the bottom (pictured). The color is strong and the original owner stenciled his name on it.
Barracks bags are heavy cotton all purpose bags with a heavy duty cotton rope drawstring at the top. They are large, measuring 24" x 31". They have been used in U.S. Military service under various guises and colors for many decades. These bags are typically used as laundry bags and general purpose clothing bags.
