This is a piece of history!
This is a WWII Army Officer's Guide from 1943. It is in used, good condition. The dust jacket is torn by largely intact. There are pages with creases, but they all appear to be intact and there is no damage from silverfish.
Army Officer's Guides are usually presented to newly commissioned officers. They help prepare a new lieutenant for life in the Army. The content being published varied over the years, but they usually provided information on customs and courtesies, life on Army posts, uniforms and equipment, finances, awards, pay and evaluations.
This book is an incredible source into officer life at the height of WWII! It provides color plates on the various unit badges during the war as well as photos of the "new" uniforms being issued for WWII.
