For your consideration is an Army issue men's black trench coat. The coat is a size 38S, which equates to a size Medium/Short. It is in used, very good condition and dated 1982.
This trench coat was made to be worn over the green Army Class A uniform of the period. Unlike most trench coat designs, it appears not to have featured an integral belt. Furthermore, it is single breasted and the buttons are hidden under a flap. Technically the lack of the belt and the exterior buttons makes this more of an overcoat. It features two front slash hand pockets, which also double as pass-through pockets. There is a button on the rear vent flaps to keep the flaps relatively closed. It has a provision for a zip-in liner, but it does not include the liner. I don't know if modern Army trench coat liners will fit this version.
A commercially made trench coat of comparable quality would cost hundreds of dollars.
