This is for assembled 1-12 Scale early production Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) boxes. One order consists of three boxes. This listing is for the MRE boxes only. The model is for reference.
These MRE boxes are measured carefully and the labels are from real cases. MRE's were originally issued in cases that were basically the same as their MCI/C-Ration predecessors. They consisted of an internal box and an outer sleeve. These boxes were issued through the 1980's and into the early 1990's when they were replaced with the current version. This is the correct MRE box for Desert Storm and the mission in Somalia. Please look at the reference photos. The first is of an M-551 Sheridan crew layout in Desert Storm. Note the MRE cases on the far left. The second is of a flat rack shipment of MRE's in Somalia.

Conditions of return
